Located in Nago, Okinawa, HELIOS Distillery is one of Japan’s few distilleries where visitors can experience Japanese whisky, Awamori, rum, and craft beer all within a single guided tour. Our distillery is renowned not only for its traditional Awamori and craft beer, but also for its Japanese whisky, which has been attracting growing attention around the world.

Using pure spring water originating from the forests of Yanbaru, home to a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, Okinawa’s warm subtropical climate, and distilling expertise refined over many years, HELIOS creates distinctive whiskies that can only be crafted in Okinawa.

After your distillery tour, be sure to visit our Shop & Gallery, which reopened in November 2023 following a complete renovation. Inside, you’ll find a wide selection of HELIOS Distillery’s signature products, including Awamori, rum, whisky, and craft beer. You may even discover limited-edition products and exclusive bottles available only at our distillery.

At our inviting bar counter, you can enjoy complimentary tastings of selected products, with premium whisky tastings available for an additional fee. Comparing different expressions and discovering your favorite drink is one of the unique experiences that makes a visit to HELIOS Distillery truly memorable.
